This is the story of my journey through discerning my vocation. I hope that it is beneficial to you in helping you navigate your own paths as well! Everyone's story is different though, so know that the Lord has a specific plan in the works for your vocation. It will be very different from mine, but no less beautiful. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ups and downs, the dramatic moments and the quiet moments, and just the ways that the Lord has blessed my life and is continuing to bless it. And never forget that He is working in your life as well, even if you don't see Him.

And why "The Story of a Sunflower" you may ask? Well simply because I am Jesus's sunflower. As a sunflower always turns it's head to find the sunlight, no matter what soil it is in, no matter the weather conditions, I too turn to follow the Son no matter what may be going on in my life. Without Him, I am wilted and cannot grow. This isn't always an easy task, but sunflowers have become an image of hope and strength to me, and I know that if these beautiful flowers can reach their necks high and find the sun, then so can I.
